Valley Caravan's owner is also a board member for Women for Afghan Women and director of Afghan Women's Fund, an organization that is dedicated to empowering women in Afghanistan. Currently based in Annapolis, Maryland, she travels to her native country regularly to continue her work for the empowerment of women to find ways to support their families and the thousands of fatherless children.
